Naima Farah

Welcome to my webpage. I am a Post-Doctoral Research Economist at Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center, a research and extension center under Texas A&M University System. I am also working as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Department of Economics in State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz and as a Visiting Research Fellow at Elaine Hill Research Lab at the University of Rochester Medical Center. 


I completed my PhD in Economics from University of Calgary in 2017. My specialization is in applied microeconomics, energy, environment, natural resources, agriculture, water, and public policy.   

I am in the job market for the academic year 2019-2020 and available for interviews in the ASSA meetings in January 2020 in San Diego. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.
