Hello, welcome to Dr. Naima Farah's webpage. I am a Post-Doctoral Research Economist at Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center, a research and extension center under Texas A&M University System. I am also working as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Department of Economics in State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz and as a Visiting Research Fellow at Elaine Hill Research Lab at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
I will join U.S. Department of Energy- Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's Division of Analytics and Surveillance as an Energy Economist/ Energy Industry Analyst in June.
I completed my PhD in Economics from University of Calgary in 2017. My specialization is in energy, environment, natural resources, applied microeconomics, and public policy.
